On Friday, August 10th at the Sheraton Suites in Cuyahoga Falls, there will be a culinary event that you will not want to miss! The 3rd annual Six Courses for a Cure gourmet wine dinner will benefit the Meredith A. Cowden Foundation and help support the Graft v. Host Disease National Symposium taking place in Cleveland on November 2, 2012. GvHD is a complication of a lifesaving bone marrow transplant. Roger Thomas of Piatto Novo (Sheraton Suites, Cuyahoga Falls), Kevin Francek of Moe’s (Cuyahoga Falls), Steve Schimoler of Crop Bistro (Ohio City), Rick Carson of Nosh (Hudson), Lynette Bushey of Verde (Pittsburgh) and Aaron Hervey of Crave (Akron) will all come together to create an unforgettable six course meal. Wine pairings will accompany each course. Wines will be provided by Vision Cellars, Carter Cellars, Ruby Kurant, Venture Wines, Maritime Wine Trading Collective and PerryMoore Wines via Purple Feet Distributing.
Each chef will also prepare an appetizer for the cocktail hour. There will be a silent and live auction with some fantastic items, including a trip for 4 to Pinehurst on a private jet, a golf package at Firestone Country Club for play on the South, North and West Course, and a Le Cordon Bleu Package which includes a 3 night stay at the Fairmont Chateau Laurier and 6 hours of culinary instruction for 2. Come out and support a great cause while enjoying a first class meal.
